The port of Harlingen has several inner and outer bridges and locks. We have set out below an overview with the corresponding operating times and contact details.

Inner bridges
- 1 April – 1 November from 09:00 – 12:00, 13:00 – 19:00.
The inner bridges are not operated outside this period.
Harbour bridge to Zuiderhaven
- 1 April – 1 November from 06:00 – 22: 00 hours.
- summer timetable on Sundays 07.45 – 22.00 hours, in July and August from 6.00 – 22.00 hours
- 1 November – 1 April from 08:00 – 12:00 hours and from 13:00 and 17:00 hours, no service on Sundays.

Prins Hendrikbrug to Noorderhaven
- 1 April – 1 November from 06:00 – 22: 00 hours every hour at 5 minutes to and 25 minutes past the hour.
- summer timetable on Sundays 07.45 – 22.00 hours, in July and August from 06.00 – 22.00 hours
- 1 November – 1 April from 08:00 – 12:00 hours and from 13:00 and 17:00 hours, no service on Sundays.
Sasbrug
- Open 24/7.
- Floodgates closed from a water level of NAP +110.
Lock operating times
In high season, the large and small locks in Harlingen are served 7 days a week for recreational craft. The locks are operated in consultation in view of the tides. The contact information is given below.
Important information
The maximum size of vessels is a length of 16 metres and a breadth of 4 metres, and a draught of 1.40 metres.
Please note: take into account differences in clearance height, breadth and draught at bridges and locks.
